Cobalt Blue Porcelain Lamp Vase, Sèvres Style, Late 19th–Early 20th Century
Baluster porcelain vase with cobalt blue ground, mounted as a lamp (antique electric fitting, brass socket and collar).
The decoration pairs a hand-painted reserve depicting a bouquet of flowers (roses, delphiniums, foliage), framed by a richly worked gilt border, with a scattered pattern of gilt clovers over the rest of the vase's body.
The foot shows traces of a mark worn away by use, illegible, preventing a definite attribution to a specific manufactory.
