Elegant pair of patinated bronze horses, comprising two examples of the same model, which can be arranged facing each other to form a symmetrical composition.

Each horse is shown in movement, with an arched neck, a slightly lowered head and one raised foreleg. The mane and tail are finely rendered, while the body has a restrained, harmonious modelling.

The bronze has a brown patina shaded with green, with variations and traces of oxidation from age that give it character.

The sculptures bear no visible signature or foundry mark. The maker therefore remains unidentified. Dating cautiously attributed to the 20th century.

  • Total weight: approximately 5.5 kg for the pair

Condition: good overall condition, with patina, tonal variation and signs of wear visible in the photographs.
