Christofle Atlantide, Silver-Plated Flatware Trio with Gold Accents

Atlantide is one of Christofle's rarer collections: produced for only about ten years, it is hard to find today.

The Atlantide collection

Atlantide was designed by the Christofle design studio and featured in the house catalogue from 1988 to 1998. The faceted handle widens towards the end, which is decorated with a ribbed triangle, and starts with a reeded band. On this trio, the band and the triangle are gilded, playing gold against silver on a geometric design with an Art Deco feel.

Marks

On the fork, the Christofle knight hallmark, which also bears the house initials, OC, together with the words CHRISTOFLE and FRANCE. Knife blade marked Christofle France.

Condition
