It takes up a key ornament of the neoclassical vocabulary: the beaded border, which Parisian silversmiths of the late 18th century set along the edges of flatware and hollowware. Here, a fine frieze of raised half-pearls follows the outline of the handle, whose surface remains smooth and bright.

Marks

Christofle and France marks, with the Christofle horseman hallmark, which also bears the initials of the house, OC.

Details

Maker: Christofle

Pattern: Perles

Style: Louis XVI

Material: silver plate

Length: 15 cm

Weight: 250 g including the box

Sold as a set of 6, with their original box

Condition

New.
